Why have an Asthma Symptom Prevention Plan?
Doctors and other asthma experts often recommend having an Asthma Symptom Prevention Plan in place to help keep your child’s asthma under control. To effectively prevent your child’s asthma symptoms, it’s necessary for you and other caregivers to be able to judge how your child is feeling and to know what to do if symptoms don’t stay controlled. If you feel that your child’s asthma symptoms are not being prevented, talk to his or her doctor about using a preventive medicine.
